Dehradun conference 30 October 2015
ALTRET participated in 24th National Conference on I.C Engines and Combustion (24th NCICEC-2015) organized on 30 Oct - 01 Nov 2015. Theme of event was COMBUSTION FOR ENERGY SECURITY WITH SUSTAINABILITY. The event was organized by University of Petroleum & Energy Studies Dehradun, Under the auspices of The Combustion Institute-Indian Section (CIIS).
ALTRET presented technical paper and power point presentation on effective energy conversion in thermal power plant though monitoring the combustion with usage of combustion monitoring chemicals. ALTRET is also one of the sponsored of the event.
About 70% of India's electricity generation capacity is from fossil fuels, with coal accounting for 40% of India's total energy consumption followed by crude oil and natural gas at 28% and 6% respectively. India is largely dependent on fossil fuel imports to meet its energy demands - by 2030, India's dependence on energy imports is expected to exceed 53% of the country's total energy consumption. In this situation maximum output of power generation with effective combustion is highly necessary. Effective combustion can be achieve with proper understanding fuel and ash characteristics and provide best chemical solution to overcome the issues of inferior combustion.
